know where moray eels are listed for sale, well there are many places online and
offline where you can buy moray eels, the prices will vary depending on the
specie. For example we found an online fish shop that had moray eels for sale
between $50 and $100 dollars. The eel they had listed was a Green Moray Eel,
they required a tank of a minimum of 50 gallons. They also mentioned that moray
eels are aggressive and they will attack other fish, so they recommend buying a
separate tank for the eel. They also mentioned if you buy the eel the type of
food, they said that you must feed the moray eel fresh seafood like other small
fish, shrimp, etc.
The moray eel that was for sale cost $80 dollars and it was around 9 inches
long. Remember that Moray Eels can be pets but you have to take care of them
appropriately, they require special attention since they are not like other
regular fish. Like we mentioned before a moray eel requires a separate tank
(unless you want it to eat all of your fish) and even the owner has to be
careful when feeding the eel, they can bite your fingers.
You can also find moray eels for sale in your local fish store or in a pet
store, but note that they are not that easy to find, they do not sell them
everywhere, also it is important that you know that the moray eel usually lives
in the deep parts of the sea, if not taken care of properly the moray eel might
not last long in a regular fish tank, so ask the professionals before buying a
moray eel.
