Moray Eel From Hawaii
There are so many different kinds of wildlife species residing in or around the Hawaiian Islands. It will not come as a shock to you that there is quite a large population of underwater species in the waters around the island. More specifically, there are a lot of Moray Eels swimming through those waters.
If you are on the Hawaiian Islands and have some extra time, it is well worth it to go and do some scuba diving.
Even if you stay pretty close to the coast in shallow waters, you may be able to see some interesting moray eels.
If you are diving on shallow coral reefs, you can expect to see such species as snowflake morays, stout morays and yellow margined morays.
If you are a more advanced diver and plan on diving in some deeper water, you will surely see a different and more rare set of Moray eels. You may see a banded moray, a viper moray, or even a colorful dragon moray!
There are some species of moray eel, though, that just don’t want to be seen.
Chances are, no matter where you dive, you will not find a tiger moray, a yellow head moray, or a yellow mouth moray.
If you do go diving for eels in Hawaii, there are two things to remember. First, never reach into a crack or hole in a reef hoping to scare out an eel. They might bite you and you could get severely injured. Secondly, some eels will not leave their shelter during the day as they like to hunt under the cover of the night.
If you do go to Hawaii, I highly suggest you do some diving in the water and look for some great moray eels.
