Moray Eels are very beautiful creatures, they are peaceful and non aggressive (except when provoked). With their vibrant colors and attractive designs they are very entertaining to look at. So for all you fish lovers out there, adding a Moray eel to your aquarium may be a good idea however make sure you don’t have small fish in it cause if you do, they will be a nice juicy snack for your Moray Eel. Moray Eels are not really easy to find at pet stores, they are actually rare to find. In fact as soon as they hit the pet stores, they are sold out. But not many people know how to take care of this fish and land up providing a bad environment which in turn results in the death of the Moray eel. Moray Eels are easy to take care off. All they require is a nice aquarium and food. Moray eels eat everything including smaller fish. Don’t worry if they skip a meal a few days since they have the capacity of going without food for weeks. Remember if you want your eel to feel at home, your aquarium needs to be big and spacious. Moray eels love to hide be sure to have rocks and enough places for it to hide. If your aquarium meets the needs of your moray eel, it will live a long healthy life. The water doesn’t need to be a particular temperature as such; 72-86 Fahrenheit is good enough. Do not expect to be able to view your Moray Eel at all times, remember it likes to hide. Hiding behind rocks or in crevices of the rocks is its natural habitat and if you can provide the same for it in the aquarium, they will be happy and will enjoy their stay for the rest of their days.
